Branch Administrator (150jc) vacancy in Southampton ()

This logistics company is a leading distributor of specialist building products in Europe, with strong positions in its core markets of insulation & energy management, interiors and exteriors.

The Group principally operates in 9 countries in Europe and has trading operations in a further 6, including countries in the Middle East, serving a wide range of trades in the building and construction markets.

You will be reporting to the Stock & Admin Manager and your duties will include:-

• Provide admin support to the logistics team
• Goods in processing
• Resolve customer problems and provide an effective sales support function
• Customer invoicing
• Resolve manufacturer and customer queries
• Carry out cash sales banking and proper recording (holiday cover)
• Control petty cash (holiday cover)
• General branch admin i.e. filing, typing and photocopying etc.

You must possess excellent organisational skills and have good written and verbal communication as you will be dealing with all levels of staff and external customers/suppliers.

You will be self-motivation, being able to prioritise work and meet deadlines as well as an excellent telephone manner is also essential. Previous admin experience and experienced in the use Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is essential.
