You will be reporting to the UK Managing Director and you will be responsible for a channel management role building a network of partnerships with distributors, dealers, system integrators and end users.
The companies longer term plan would be for each BBD to build their own teams to further develop and grow the company within the next 3-5 years.
You will carry a target of £2m and your region will be part of the EMEA marketplace but will focus on their own product lines and become the company SME on that product or service and assist your colleagues in their delivery.
You will be expected to work independently, use your own initiative and you will be expected to perform.
The sales process will be based on a push/pull process that is to build awareness, interest and demand at an end user level to pull up through the channel and also to build the network of partner to push down through the channel.
The package my client is looking to offer is based on experience and knowledge with a £35 – 45k base, approx £15-20k commission uncapped and the other usual benefits, i.e. car/car allowance (£550.00 P/M) pension, health.
You will also be expected to travel both in the UK and overseas to meet with clients and attend various exhibitions across the EMEA region and therefore you will be travelling between 60-70% of your time.
The roles initially be based at Crawley/Gatwick area and therefore individuals will need to be able to commute to this location on a regular basis.
The ideal candidates will be individuals who have a thermal imaging background who can hit the ground running, as this is a hot start up operation and the client does not have the time to give training in this sector or the sales process.
